Pitched at skiers and boarders, the Drifter is designed to be adaptable, worn as an outer layer or under a shell. The jacket is reversible, with weather resistant fabric on one side, and a sleeker lightly quilted face on the other. The insulation is synthetic Primaloft, which maintains its loft in wet conditions and washes more easily than natural down. Features include a simple hood, hand warmer pockets on one face, and a napoleon pocket on the other. It’s relatively heavy, and I found it bulky to layer, but its versatility and accessible price make it a good option for the budget conscious. Weight 480g.
