First the good – it’s a comfortable, breathable fleece with a hard wind deflecting face. The contrast lining inside is soft and cosy. There are two micro fibre lined hand warmer pockets and a hood that will fit under (not over) a climbing helmet. However, the design and finishing are unsophisticated. The cuffs are and hem are bound with nylon- there are no adjusters or drawcord. The cut is shapely, but rudimentary and the jacket rides up when I raise my arms. I think it’s a lot of money to pay for a soft shell that is quite basic when compared to others in the same price bracket.
