This slimline jacket has everything you need to stay cosy on cold days. The synthetic insulation provides a good degree of warmth allowing you to use it as a stand-alone jacket if you need to, or as part of a multi-layer system in harsher weather. Its streamlined design means it is light weight and packs down very small. The hem, cuffs and hood are not adjustable in any way, relying on the stretch fabric to keep out draughts, which did work well. You can even fit a pony tail under the hood. The two pockets have short zipped openings which means you need to squeeze your hands through the opening in bigger gloves, but keeps out the draughts. There are two large drop pockets on the inside which were great for fitting lots of things inside, particularly electronics that you want to keep warm.
►Verdict: A simple design that is light but warm.
►Best for: Any cold weather where space in your pack is important.
