It’s a budget option, but there are a lot of useful features built in to this small sack. These include raincover, pocket on the hip belt, three external mesh pockets, internal pocket and fleece lined top pocket. The bad news is that the hip belt sits high and stiff and doesn’t fit me well, whilst the back panel offers little in the way of ventilation or wicking properties. The website blurb mentions a “tension suspended mesh back” but I found no evidence of this unfortunately. That said, considering that it is currently half price on the Mountain Warehouse website, it is good value for those looking for a small pack for occasional use. Weight 638g (my home scales).
VERDICT: A functional, cheap as chips, summer day sack.
BEST FOR: Tight budgets and light use.
