The Focus Top is stretchy and soft, making it easy to pull on over the head and comfortable to wear, particularly for activities where you stretch and lift your arms. It provides a little more coverage than a sports bra so I was happier wearing it as a stand-alone item rather than a piece of underwear, which would typically be covered. This was a bonus in low impact situations where I needed to stay cool, and so worked well in the climbing wall and yoga studio. The extra-wide shoulder straps are very comfortable, and the crossed straps design ensures they don’t slip while moving. It comes with two pads that can be inserted in a pocket on the cups to prevent nipples showing, although the pockets were quite big for them, so they moved around inside between uses. It comes in a wide variety of bright colours which don’t fade, even after many washes.
▶Verdict: Minimal support which looks good and feels comfortable.
▶Best For: Low impact activities, particularly climbing and yoga.
