The UK’s newest adventure and activity based travel operator FrozenGround has launched a new range of active adventures in exotic locations.
“We started FrozenGround because of our own love of authentic and memorable travel experiences,” FrozenGround Founder Marietta Baranyai said.
“We love living adventurously and we want to help others take their vacations to a whole new level.
“Whether it’s climbing Everest or taking a gentle stroll through the villages of Bhutan or even bear watching in Transylvania – we aim to create experiences that create the same passion, excitement and enthusiasm in our clients.
“This is a great way for us to continue pursuing our own passion for travel as well as allowing us to share it with others.”
FrozenGround is built on a philosophy of active, involved holidays. Groups are restricted to just eight travellers which means clients not only get personalised service and support but also the opportunity to make some great new friends. It also allows for greater flexibility with bookings, activities and adventures.
“Small groups mean we are able to get off the beaten track to places like Transylvania which is one of our favourite destinations at the moment,” commented Co-Founder Tamas Kovacs.
FrozenGround’s Transylvania tours depart year-round and feature everything from relaxing walks in the scenic countryside to bear watching from a hide and even snow shoeing or dog sledding in the winter.
“Smaller groups also mean we minimise the impact on the environment we are exploring.
“And our clients get a real feel for their journey – they are not sheep being herded along with large groups of others and straining to hear a monotonous commentary. They can build connections with their fellow travellers, have real conversations with their local guides and interact with local people.”
The company currently operates in Bhutan, Nepal and Tibet and is launching all new tours in Albania, Slovenia, Kosovo, Montenegor and India in coming weeks.
