This airmat is the budget option here, with an R-value of 1.7, but its thinness does mean that it’s easily inflated and deflated. Baffles run top to toe, with squared corners, and as a consequence this feels comfortable to use despite its lack of depth. The valve is a secure twist lock design and doesn’t leak overnight. I had to boost this with a closed cell foam mat underneath in order to stay warm, even in relatively mild spring conditions, but it should perform fine for occasional summer use. Packs down to the size of a 750ml bottle and weighs 500g.
VERDICT: Inexpensive but durable summer-only mat.
BEST FOR: Occasional 1-2 season use.
