Cream O’ the Croft Bike Festival is family friendly action-packed mountain biking weekend, being staged at Comrie Croft, Perthshire from Firday 26th to Sunday 28th June.
On the Friday night things will kick off with a movie premiere with a difference – you provide the power! Yes, its pedal power all the way. In the courtyard spectators will scream on their favourites in the pumptrack challenge and there will also be an open mic session in the barn. Bar and food from 6pm.
The festivals flagship event, The Funduro, takes centre stage during the day on Saturday. The most exciting new event in Scottish mountain biking, this is a mashup featuring multiple timed stages: blue, red and black grade downhills; one hill-climb; a head-to-head dual slalom; and pump-track challenge. It’s designed for any mountain biker 14 years or over, so get your entry in now!

Also on Saturday the kid’s zone will feature action, adventure and making cool stuff by Action Glen, Remake Scotland, Do It Outdoors and a pop-up wildlife park by Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre. Oh, and a giant water slide!
Chilled tunes from up-and-coming acts will be playing all weekend, but first up in the barn on Saturday evening is Daniel Meade and the Flying Mules (“Glasgow based country and roots rocker… soon enough Mr. Meade might not be so local”).
On Sunday the focus switches to the wee ones on two wheels. There will be balance bike coaching, and various races and challenges for all ages (with prizes!). Pick up a bargain (or flog those parts you’ve never used) at the big bike jumble sale. Then try out one of the hot new bikes from the massive range of top end demo bikes that will be onsite.
