The Swift is a simple and affordable cycling orientated pack with (you guessed it) 10 litres capacity. There’s ‘air mesh’ fabric on the back and shoulder straps, designed to improve air flow, two main back pockets, both of which have sleeves – the rear one holding a well-made 2 ltr hydration reservoir. There’s an addition key pocket (with clasp) and two well-proportioned hipbelt pockets, large enough to hold gels, bars, headtorches, smartphones and bike tools… almost all at once. There’s still room for a layer or two in the main body of the pack – I’d say 10 litres was conservative. I really enjoyed the stripped-down simplicity of this pack, but the sternum strap sits very high, and the shoulder straps have no padding at all. As a consequence, I did sometimes feel it while riding and it’s best not to overload.
▶ Best for: Day missions on trails or gravel.
▶ Verdict: A lean, wallet friendly cycling pack with loads of storage.
