According to the ministry, published on the digital site Facebook, “Ukrainian guards” carry out a “successful” counter-attack in Kharkiv by the 127th Regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
On the other hand, Ukraine’s top military command says it is focusing on efforts to maintain positions in “enemy” (Russian forces) territory.
On the same note, the Russian military continues its offensive towards Donetsk in Ukraine’s eastern operating zone, where it has attacked military and civilian infrastructure and is “preparing” for another offensive in the Izum region.
According to the same source, Russian troops strengthened control of the border between Ukraine and Russia – in the Bryansk and Kursk regions, and attacked civilian infrastructure in the cities of Dowanke, Rusky Tiki, Ternovo and Petrovka with artillery.
According to the same Ukrainian government, “massive attacks” of Russian artillery and warplanes continue in Mariupol, especially in the area of the Azovstal factory, where the last Ukrainian fortress of the port city is located.
In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian security forces claim to have shot down “11 enemy aircraft targets: two helicopters (Ka-52 and Mi-28), seven unmanned aerial vehicles (operational and tactical drones) and two naval missiles.”
The Ukrainian military points out that sixteen Russian attacks were neutralized in the vicinity of Donetsk and Lukansk, destroying three tanks, an artillery system and six armored carriers.
This is Kiev’s military information, which has not yet been confirmed by independent sources.
