Woman seriously injured after assault in occupied building in Madrid

UA 37-year-old Filipina woman was seriously injured on Saturday afternoon after she was assaulted by another woman in an illegally occupied building in Tetuán, Madrid, Spain.

The two got into an argument and suffered serious head injuries.

When emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene, the victim was in cardiac arrest due to his injuries. After resuscitation maneuvers were performed, the position was reversed.

In a release on the social network Twitter, the woman was sent to a La Paz hospital in critical condition.

The transport of the victim by Madrid’s municipal fire department was hampered by “difficulties on the ground” and the amount of debris piled up, as can be seen in the images.

The city police arrested the aggressor who was taken to the National Police Station.

Witnesses at the scene, quoted by El Mundo newspaper, denounced that several Filipinos were living illegally in the building and were constantly involved in arguments.
