A passenger plane shook violently as it flew through an infernal hailstorm that destroyed the nose of the plane and forced an emergency landing, a horrific video clip showed from the cabin.
LATAM Paraguay Flight LA1325 experienced severe weather as it headed to Asuncion from Santiago de Chile late Wednesday.

Stunning images captured on the ground show a hole in the nose of the Airbus A320-200 and a shattered windshield.
Chile’s Directorate General of Aeronautics said the plane had made an emergency landing “due to the harsh and unpredictable weather conditions”.
“This case is under investigation, both by DINAC and by the airline,” Felix Kanasawa, head of Paraguay’s National Directorate of Aeronautics, told local radio.



Paraguay’s LATAM Airlines said in a statement that the plane was “exposed to harsh weather conditions” and had to make an emergency landing.
“Passengers and crew are in good condition,” she added. “LATAM Airlines Paraguay regrets the inconvenience this air event may have caused its passengers.”
The damaged plane, with 48 passengers on board, was diverted to Foz do Iguaçu / Cataratas International Airport in Brazil, Simple flight reported.
