New Batman trailer premieres with Robert Pattinson, Colin Farrell and Zoe Kravitz during NBA All-Star Game Weekend










A new trailer for the much-anticipated movie The Batman surfaced over the weekend at the NBA All-Star Game on Saturday.

The trailer was played during a commercial break with broadcaster Kevin Harlan to present the new clip.

The video originally showed the exterior of Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland with everything running normally.

“Well, the fun just started on a cold February night here—” the famous sports broadcaster cut short his statement as the screen began to flash and read “Truth Revealed.”

“Wow, you guys brought this in the truck?” Harlan asked. “Something is happening outside.”

The trailer starts playing, and a racket signal superimposed on the video.

“Wait, is this a bat signal?” Asked. I think Batman is on the surface. Oh man, I can’t believe what I see.

Tension: Near the end of the clip, Catwoman asks

Tension: Near the end of the clip, the “Caped Crusader” Catwoman asks who’s under the mask, and if he’s scarred, the legendary hero replies “Yes.”

Then the trailer started in earnest, and it took up the entire screen.

The clip shows a few action sequences before being cut out for Zoë Kravitz’s Catwoman, Colin Farrell’s Penguin, and other characters all talking about the word “revenge.”

Andy Serkis, who plays Bruce Wayne’s trusted butler, Alfred, then says, “I just became quite famous” to Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne, which makes him laugh.

Then Batman lifts up using a grappling hook before cutting clips to Catwoman asking, “Don’t you say hi?”

The trailer shows a few of the same clips as previous iterations have done including the Batmobile flying through a massive fireball while chasing Penguin’s car and other shots of Batman generally striking over Gotham’s criminal underworld.

Near the end of the clip, the “Caped Crusader” Catwoman asks who’s under the mask, and if he’s scarred, the legendary hero responds with a “yes.”

Batman, directed by Cloverfield director Matt Reeves, is set to hit theaters on March 4.
