Saraya and Toni Storm declared war on the local superstars in AEW’s women’s division. Now that Robbie Soho has joined this group of former WWE Superstars, the new faction has an official name: The Outcasts.
AEW commentators referred to them by this name several times during the show’s closing angle on tonight’s (March 10) episode of frenzy When they decide to spray paint Riho and put her shoes on.
It’s easy to draw some surface-level parallels between Saraya’s group and the nWo, given the concept of former WWE superstars declaring war on the new wrestling company, as well as their excessive use of spray paint. nWo members Kevin Nash and Scott Hall have been known as The Outsiders, and that’s not far from The Outcasts.
The Outcasts have picked a fight with Riho tonight, so the action is about to pick up when the first ever AEW World Women’s Champion gets back on her feet.
