Nintendo Switch 15.0.0 system update is now available, here are the full patch notes

Nintendo just released a new firmware update for the Switch. This is the first major update released since June, and it has been skipped forward from version 14.1.2 all the way to 15.0.0.

This latest update may not necessarily be what everyone was hoping for but it does come with some useful tweaks and improvements. Screenshots can now also be taken while you are in the NSO app. Here are the full patch notes, provided by Nintendo Official support page:

Version 15.0.0 (Released October 10, 2022

– The Bluetooth Audio menu location has been moved under System Settings.
– Screenshots can be taken using the capture button while in the Nintendo Switch Online app located in the Nintendo Switch HOME menu. (Note: video capture is not supported)
– General system stability improvements to improve user experience

[Nintendo Switch Firmware 15.0.0] It appears that Nintendo focused on the internal components of the operating system for this update.
– Handling of Ethernet switches has been moved to their own dedicated OS unit.
– Pro Controller Bluetooth firmware has been updated.
– Various error messages have been added/changed.
– Added a popup to try to exceed the maximum headphone volume while the limiter is on.
– Bad words for mainland China have been updated.
– The time zone database (zoneinfo) has been updated to the latest from ICANN.
– Added text related to Australian + New Zealand privacy laws.
