His mother confirmed that Kevin Samuels, a YouTuber best known for his controversial relationship advice, has passed away.

Rumors of his death first spread on social media on Thursday evening.

His mother, Beverly Samuels-Burch, declined to reveal details about what happened. She said she learned of her son’s death from social media.

“It was horrible for social media to post this. I didn’t even know. I wasn’t even notified,” she said in a phone call on Friday. “All I do is ask people to pray for us.”
