Hezbollah said the move was in response to enemy attacks against towns and civilian homes in southern Lebanon, particularly in the Kfar Qila and Kfar Shuba municipalities.

In the same vein, it also reported the death of two of its fighters in the Lebanese towns of Kfar Kila and Khiam, while the Lebanese National News Agency (ANN) reported the death of a civilian in an Israeli attack on the town of Kfar Shuba. .

The Lebanese group was responsible for two more operations against northern Israel in which it used rockets.

The attacks came a day after Hezbollah fired “dozens” of rockets at military bases in northern Israel in response to a bombing in southern Lebanon that killed two commanders of the Sunni group Jama'ah al-Islami.

Since October last year, Hezbollah and Israel have been engaged in intense fighting following the war in the Gaza Strip.
