Disney parks prepare to reopen after Hurricane Ian

Central Florida theme parks are expected to reopen this week after Hurricane Ian made its way through the state, flooding the area with historic levels of rain. Magic Kingdom will reopen at 10 AM, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be served as scheduled and sold out. The EPCOT Show reopens at 11 a.m. at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at 12 p.m., and Disney’s Animal Kingdom reopens at 1 p.m. There have been reports of damage on the Islands of Adventure. Park officials said they are still evaluating park conditions, and Sea World will remain closed Friday. Park tickets dated during the closure will be valid through the end of the year due to the extension, according to the company. Legoland will also be closed on Friday. Fun Spot Orlando and Kissimmee will open on Friday at 10am
