Seattle — Seattle Mariners coach Scott Service and third base coach Manny Acta have tested positive for COVID-19 and will be sidelined starting Wednesday’s game against the Texas Rangers.
Head Coach, Christopher Negron, will serve as acting manager. Negron led the Triple-A team in Seattle last season before joining the major league action squad this year.
Seattle added Tacoma coach Zach Vinsge, batting coordinator CJ Gilman and special task coordinator Dan Wilson as assistants in Wednesday’s game.
