This bag has a comfort rating of 3°C and a comfort limit of -3°C and it is fair to mention that it was tested to its comfort limit. Weighing 845g, it packs down incredibly small in a stuff sack to 24x20x17cm, which is great for multi-day backpacking trips or adventures where you want to move fast and light. It has a good zip baffle, which didn’t move, even with wriggling in the middle of the night. However, the 700 fill power duck down moved around a lot which meant there were several areas without enough filling. This was particularly noticeable around the foot area, especially if your feet touch the end of the bag. You would be advised to try to manipulate the down for a more even spread.
► Verdict: Light and compact, but so is the filling.
► Best for: Fast and light adventures in cool temperatures, not cold.
