The Terradora is a range of women’s urban walking boots launched for spring 2017 and although I’m naturally suspicious of anything with the “lifestyle” tag attached, these really grew on me during the test period. The look is bold, with bright colours and a heathered finish that goes unashamedly for the young end of the market (i.e. not me). However, they feel lovely to wear, with a broad fit, soft uppers, and cushioned support around the ankle. The sole has good shock absorbency, and is grippy, so there is comfort when pounding tarmac, and traction on loose trails. A waterproof membrane backed up by a rubber rand keeps rain and puddles out. Whilst I’d like more structured underfoot support for mountain hiking, these are well suited to impromptu rambles, explorations and urban adventures the world over. Perfect for travellers.
