OS Maps, the online mapping system from Ordnance Survey has had some big changes since the initial beta launch a year ago.
Using GB’s most detailed leisure mapping, OS Maps lets you plan adventures, discover new places, and record, share and follow routes. The new updates have added advanced functions like automatic route synchronisation between desktop and app, automatic routing in National Parks and more accurate, personalised time estimates.
There’s also been a big increase in the number of users, meaning there’s now more than half a million routes to discover – from strolls around the park to epic multi-day adventures. Basic functions are free, but subscribing to a Premium package unlocks some of the more advanced features, such as the 25k Explorer mapping.
You can try the full features of OS Maps for free with the 7-day Premium trial – find out more and sign up here.
